New Coffee Roast at Take Five Café: Mokha Java

As summer is starting up in full swing we’re celebrating the season with a new coffee roast at Take Five Café.  We would like to introduce the Mokha Java as part of the Take Five Café coffee program.

The Mokha Java is a pour over coffee, prepared using our new Hario system. Each cup of coffee is hand crafted, made immediately when you order. The result is the freshest, most balanced cup of coffee you could ever hope for.

The Mokha Java is grown in Ethiopia and the Island of Java at altitudes of 4,000 to 5,5000 feet. The coffee goes through the fully washed process, is roasted to a full flavour level and features the following characteristics:

Aroma: slightly sweet with hints of spice and nut

Acidity: bright and favourable acidity

Body: Good body, somewhat light

Flavour: Sweet, candied fruit and citrus, finishing with a distinct milk chocolate tone.
