New Coffee Roasts at Take Five Café: Colombian Santander

As February is drawing to a close, we have an exciting new coffee roast that is joining the Take Five Café Family. We’re pleased to introduce The Colombian Santander.

The Colombian Santander is a pour over coffee, prepared using our new Hario system. Each cup of coffee is hand crafted, made immediately when you order. The result is the freshest, most balanced cup of coffee you could ever hope for.

The Colombian Santander is Rainforest Alliance Certified and  grown in the Santander region of Colombia at altitudes of 5,500 to 7,500 feet. The coffee is fully washed, roasted to an East Coast Light level, Direct Trade, and features the following characteristics:

Aroma: Pungent, with hints of dark cherry, vanilla and chocolate.

Acidity: Good, balanced acidity

Body: Creamy texture

Flavour: Potent chocolate flavour with subtle notes of fruit
