New Coffee Roasts at Take Five Café: The Guatemalan

At Take Five Café, we’re always focused on the quest for the best coffee experience. That’s why we’re excited to announce some new coffee roasts that are making their way into our coffee family.

First up, we’d like to introduce The Guatemalan Antigua, otherwise known as “La Flor de Café”

The Guatemalan is grown in the region of Antigua, approximately 3,000 to 6,000 feet about sea level. It is a direct trade coffee, roasted at a level of full city plus and features the following characteristics:

Aroma: Smoky cedar  notes are mixed with sweet chocolate, a treat for the nose!

Acidity is pronounced, with good Body.

Flavour: Fruit and floral notes dominate this cup with a slight sweetness and dark chocolate finish.

Select Take Five Café locations will begin brewing this roast and we invite each of you to stop by and try it! We are continuing to add to our coffee roast family, so keep your eye out for more new roasts coming your way soon. As always, we’ll update our blog online to keep you posted on all the happenings in our Take Five Café world.
