New Coffee Roasts at Take Five Café:
Terra Firma

At Take Five Café, we take coffee seriously. This fall, we’re introducing a new coffee roast to our drip coffee offerings – the Terra Firma. It’s a slightly darker roast, perfect for those November mornings where rain seems to be the only constant.

The Terra Firma is a Fair Trade, Organic Coffee that originates from Guatemala, Peru and Ethiopia and is grown in the Antigua, Andres and Sidamo regions. It is fully washed, semi-dried, grown at an altitude of 3,500 to 6,500 feet above sea level and features the following flavour characteristics:

Aroma: Subtle roast profile with dark chocolate notes and toasted almonds

Acidity + Body: Both Good

Flavour: Clean and rich with strong notes of dark chocolate and toasted almonds with a subtle hint of sweet dark cherries to finish.

So this November, when you need a change of pace and something comforting to start your morning right, stop by anyone of our locations and grab a fresh cup of Terra Firma. It’s bound to start your day on the right track.

New Coffee Roast at Take Five Café: Java Kayumas Estate

When rain boots, umbrellas, scarves and hats start making appearances, it’s clear Fall is underway in Vancouver. As the rainy season kicks off soon, we thought it was time to introduce a new coffee roast, perfect for curling up with a good book in front of a toasty fire on a crisp fall day.
